Rick Michaels began acting at a young age. In high school, he successfully played the role of John Proctor in Arthur Miller's 'The Crucible'. While attending the University of Akron he acted and starred in several productions including 'Brigadoon' and 'Living In The Material World', which he co-wrote with short story author Richard Urdials.
During a twenty-year career in public safety as a police officer, firefighter/paramedic, public information officer and disaster response trainer, he also worked in commercial broadcasting as a voice over talent, on-air personality and news reporter. Currently he lives in Southwest Florida where he has resumed acting in both large budget films ('Any Given Sunday', 'Out Of Time', 'The Holy Man', 'Red Dragon', 'Bad Boys 2') and lower budget independent feature productions. ('Ripper', 'Wheels', 'Rules, Regs & Arrears', 'The Interrogation', 'The Soldier' and the award-winning 'Rope Art', (Best Suspence Drama, New York International Independent Film Fest, 2001)as the right wing Christian zealot, Wallace Doyle).
Besides acting in both film and TV, Rick has produced three movies, 'Rules, Regs & Arrears', 'The Interrogation', and 'The Soldier'. Currently he helms the production company, 'Latitude 25 Pictures, in Fort Myers, FL.- Actor
